Globe unit FINSI eyes expansion in Visayas, Mindanao

Fiber Infrastructure and Network Services Inc. (FINSI), a subsidiary of Globe’s Asticom Group, will soon expand to Visayas and Mindanao
FINSI is an engineering solutions provider which powers up broadband fiber rollouts of major telecom companies. It currently serves the National Capital Region, Southern Luzon provinces such as Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon, and the Bicol Region.
Following a rapid growth in operations in Luzon, the company is now planning to penetrate key areas in different localities in Visayas and Mindanao to build better telecom facilities and establish nationwide presence.
“We are one with telcos in providing faster and better internet connection around the country through fiber optic technology. We aim to build more fiber lines and provide service to several areas beyond Luzon later this year,” said Marc Kerveillant, FINSI general manager.
In 2021, FINSI built over 87,000 fiber lines and has put together more than 80 build teams to help solve complex business challenges.
FiNSI was also instrumental in restoration efforts in Cebu in December last year, helping Globe restore over 19,000 communication lines damaged by Typhoon Odette.
FINSI serves as the outside plant and last-mile solutions partner of telecom and technology companies, covering site acquisition and permitting, network implementation and planning management services, transport and service delivery, installation, repair, and maintenance.
It also offers technical engineering and advisory services such as backend support, broadband and network support, and operations.
